How To Add Pages and Posts to Menu of WordPress Blog or Website?

In the menu of WordPress blogs, you may add any page, post or many other items of interest, produced by you, and are available in the blog. When you decide to add some new items of interest to the menu, present in the blog, you may add them, conveniently and easily. But, you will have to go through the steps, presented in the tutorial.

Tutorial

1: When you open up the ‘Dashboard > Appearance > Menus’ command line, you will see the ‘Pages’ are available for selecting and adding to the menu at the ‘Menu’ page in the left column of the page.

2: At this page, you may choose any of the pages for addition to the menu bar of your WordPress blog. You may select any of the pages or posts for addition to the menu of the blog by clicking the check box button.

3: If you want to add some posts in the menu of the blog, you may just click the ‘Posts, in the left column, below the ‘Pages’ section.

4: And see; now the ‘Posts’ are highlighted and activated for choosing, selecting and adding to the menu upon the blog.

5: Back to ‘Pages’, if you want to select the pages from all the pages, available in the blog, just click ‘View All’ and all the pages, available in the blog, will be highlighted for you to select from them for adding to the menu.

6: If you want to search for some particular page, published in the blog, just click the ‘Search’ and then write the name of the page in the space, available below the ‘Search’. Then add the searched page to the menu.

Similarly, you may add the posts in the menu of the blog as well.

7: Now, to save the menu, after adding the posts in the menu, just scroll down to the bottom of the ‘Menu’ page and click the ‘Save Menu’ and the menu will be saved for usage in the blog.

8: Click the home page of the blog and see the added pages or posts in the menu in the header.
